What materials are the hourly watch rests made from?

The watch rest is made from sustainably sourced Belgian walnut wood, LWG Gold certified vachetta leather from Italy. The ring tray is finished with a soft bed of the same vachetta leather.

Is the Hourly Watch Rest handmade?

Yes — each watch rest is crafted by hand with care and attention to detail. From cutting and sewing the leather to finishing the wood, every piece is made individually. This means that small, natural variations in the materials are part of what makes each one unique.

Do the materials develop character over time?

Yes, and we believe that's part of the beauty. Both the walnut wood and vachetta leather are natural materials, meaning no two pieces are exactly alike.

Vachetta leather in particular is known for how dramatically it changes over time. It starts out pale and smooth, and with exposure to light, air, and the natural oils from your hands, it develops a rich, deep patina that is entirely unique to you and how you use it. The more you handle it, the more character it gains.

This ageing process is not a flaw — it's the essence of vachetta, one of the reasons it has been cherished in fine leather goods for generations and why we those this material for our watch stands.

Can I also get a plain leather tray with my personalised watch rest?

Yes. If you order a personalised watch rest but would also like the option to display it without the engraving, leave a note in the order form. We will gladly include a plain leather tray at no extra cost, so you can switch between the two whenever you like. Some prefer to keep the personalisation for special occasions, or simply enjoy having the choice.

Where do you ship and how long does it take?

What’s your return policy?

We want you to love your Hourly Watch Rest. If your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 14 days and we'll resolve it.

All orders can be returned within 14 days of receipt in their original condition. Return shipping costs are at the customer's expense. Please note that the €35 personalisation fee is non-refundable — this covers the cost of the custom work already completed.

Can I edit or cancel my order?

If you have second thoughts you are able to cancel your order before it has been shipped out. Please contact us via email if you are willing to cancel.
